1. Strange, Unpleasant Smell

Cockroaches release a musty, oily odour that becomes stronger as their numbers increase. If you notice a persistent, foul smell in your kitchen or bathroom, it could be due to cockroach activity.

2. Droppings

Small, dark droppings that look like ground pepper or coffee grains are a clear sign. You’ll often find them behind appliances, in cupboards, or near food and water sources.

3. Shed Skin

As they grow, cockroaches shed their skins several times. Finding dry, light-brown skins near cracks, behind furniture, or in hidden corners is a strong indicator.

4. Smear Marks

In humid environments, cockroaches leave behind brown smear marks along walls, tiles, or surfaces where they frequently move. These are often seen near water sources.
